Groups in Dogorama allow you to form small communities on specific topics within the larger community. They are a space for more in-depth exchange, topic-specific networking, and sharing pictures and videos.
Groups can also specifically target members from a region, city, or even a district.
In short: In groups, you meet like-minded people with similar interests or from your region.
The decision whether a group is open or private is made by the group admin.

To join a group, go to the group's main page.
For open groups: Click the "Join group" button. You will become a member immediately.
For private groups: Click the "Request group membership" button. The group admin will review your request. Once approved, you will receive a notification.
To leave a group, go to the group's main page.
Open the context menu via the three dots at the top right and select the "Leave group" option.
Some groups require you to meet certain criteria to be accepted as a member. If your request was denied, you probably do not meet these requirements.
The criteria may vary from group to group and depend on the group's focus. For example, a regional group for London may not accept members from outside the region.
The decision is up to the group admins. We recommend checking the requirements beforehand.
It goes without saying that the Dogorama Community Guide and Terms of Use also apply within groups. Therefore, anything that is not permitted elsewhere on the platform may not be posted or shared within groups either.
Group admins may also establish additional criteria.
